We recommend you to forget the stepladder and get yourself a telescoping extension pole for your paint roller. With an extension, the pole will be good enough to paint rooms with 8 to 9 foot tall.
Finally, if you finish painting for the day but you have to continue tomorrow; you don’t have to go through the whole process of cleaning brushes and paint-roller sleeves again and again. Instead, merely brush or roll off the excess paint. Then, wrap them in plastic food wrap. This is necessary to seal out any air.
